About Advancing Minds

At Advancing Minds, we collaborate with parents and children to provide comprehensive evaluations of children's intellectual, educational, emotional, behavioral, and social functioning. Each evaluation addresses specific questions that parents may have about their child and integrates data from a wide variety of measures, such as consultations with teachers and other professionals, standardized questionnaires, systematic observations, problem-solving tasks, academic activities, and creative tasks like drawing and storytelling. The results are discussed in depth with parents and written in a clear and easy to understand narrative. This narrative will describe the child's strengths and difficulties and show ways to help them reach their full potential. Advancing Minds clinicians are also available to provide ongoing treatment to children, teens, families, and adults.
